Part of The Sixteen and Genesis Foundation’s ‘Voices of Angels’ Project

Commissioned by the Genesis Foundation for performance by The Sixteen and Harry Christophers, The Call of Isaiah combines a beautiful text by the late Robert Willis, Dean of Canterbury, with James’s characteristic intimate and thoughtful style, demonstrating warm, expressive vocals which allow the voice and lyrics to stand out. 

The Call of Isaiah is the first in a series of three new mini-commissions to be released on CORO as part of The Voices of Angels Project. Singles by Lucy Walker and Ninfea Cruttwell-Reade will follow later in the year.
